We have chosen only to use the best and most aesthetically pleasing dental materials. Integrated Dental Aesthetics practices metal-free dentistry. We have not offered silver amalgam fillings since 1992. Although the health problems caused by the mercury in metal fillings remains a subject of controversy in the medical and scientific community, we understand that many of our patients are not willing to take the risks of having mercury in their bodies. We see no reason to use silver amalgam when we have superior materials at our disposal.
